McInerney is a structural engineer and brings over 20 years of experience in structural analysis, design and construction on a variety of residential and commercial projects. DDA Forensics specializes in building consulting services, including forensic engineering and expert witness services.

Committed to research on emerging scientific trends, McInerney has authored several publications on structural analysis and design. He is a member of the American Society of Engineers. He is certified by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers; certified LEED Associated Professional; and holds the OSHA 30 certification. Dedicated to advanced education, he is currently a PhD candidate in Structural Engineering at the University of Cambridge. He also holds a Master of Applied Science in Structural Engineering from McMaster University; a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick; a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick; a Bachelor of Science in Physics & Math from the University of New Brunswick.
