DDA Forensics was a proud sponsor and host of a residential roofing class with GAF, the Florida International University School of Engineering, and the Florida International University (FIU) Hurricane Center held on April 4-8 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The topic for the residential roofing course was shingle roof installation. The program highlighted installation of materials on mock roofs; use and familiarity with typical worksite tools and equipment; installation of felt/base sheet; installation of GAF Timberline Shingles; understanding and installation of flashing details; and installation of appurtenances. All materials and tools were provided for attendees.
