Felix is a Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil, Structural, and Mechanical Engineering, beginning his career in 2007 as Structural Engineer in Miami, FL. His areas of Expertise are Structural & Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing & Software, and Forensic Engineering. Throughout his career, Felix has worked with reputable Engineering companies in South Florida such as US Forensic, Twenty-First Century Engineering, and Grindley Williams Engineering, with positions that included, among others, Structural Engineer, Project Engineer, Forensic Engineer, and Senior Structural Engineer. Felix is highly competent in providing forensic engineering consulting for property insurance claims involving water intrusion and/or structural damage, and excels delivering expert witness testimonies. Felix is also experienced in building design work, which includes the development of permit documents for residential and commercial projects over multiple disciplines, the coordination of construction requirements with contractors, and the plan review comments with building departments. In addition, Felix has assisted clients with code enforcement violations, additions, alterations, shop drawings, and performed special inspections for pile installation for marine construction projects throughout South Florida. Some of his most notable projects include his participation in the development of the Miami Marlins Stadium, and FIU College of Nursing. In 2018, Felix joined DDA Forensics as an Expert Engineer, bringing his extensive engineering background and experience in the industry. Felix is fully suited to handle complex residential and commercial damage assessments.
