Jonathon Diego joined DDA Forensics (DDA) in 2018 as a Managing Partner, bringing his vast experience and unique eye for file quality to the team. As a Licensed Multi-State Adjuster and Licensed General Contractor with a robust claims handling background, he manages a variety of residential and commercial losses.

Jonathon holds the prestigious Xactimate Certified Trainer and Xactimate Level 3 certifications. He is a licensed General Contractor in Florida, as well as a licensed Mold Assessor & Remediator. He holds an Associate degree in Claims (AIC), and various certifications such as HAAG Engineering’s Residential Roof Inspector, Commercial Roof Inspector, and Wind Damage Inspector; Level 1 Certified Thermographer; IICRC WRT & ASD certifications; Tile Roofing Industry Alliance (TRI) – Certified Florida High Wind Zone Installer certification; and is certified by the EPA as a Lead Safe Renovator in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

He has managed numerous residential and commercial claims from major weather events including hurricanes Ian, Michael, and Irma in Florida; hurricanes Ida and Isaac in Louisiana; and hurricane Ike in Texas, in addition to catastrophic events throughout the nation due to tornado, hail, wind, fire and flood events. Diego is a Florida Licensed All-Lines Adjuster; Louisiana Property & Casualty Adjuster; Georgia Property & Casualty Adjuster; and Texas All-Lines Adjuster.

Prior to launching DDA, Jonathon amassed years of experience working for national insurance carriers and independent adjusting firms. Jonathon began his career as an Adjuster in 2007, later obtaining his All-Lines Adjusting License in 2008. Throughout his career as an Independent Adjuster, Jonathon fostered long-standing relationships throughout the industry. Working with Citizens Property Insurance, he held multiple roles, including Independent Field Adjuster and Mediation Specialist. Jonathon handled DFS and litigation mediations throughout litigious Miami-Dade County where his responsibilities included analyzing risk exposure, creating and implementing case-specific dispute resolution strategies, managing loss adjustment expenses, assessing and applying coverage, and directly conducting negotiations. In 2017, Jonathon was deployed to the Florida Keys following Hurricane Irma as a Claims Examiner, reviewing Field Adjuster file submissions, assigning experts, determining coverage, issuing payments, and managing loss adjustment expenses. For his work in that role, he was awarded Citizens Property Insurance 2017 3rd Quarter ACE award, and later the annual ACE Award for Claims Handling Excellence. Later, he managed Quality Assurance for all Independent and Staff Field Adjusters in Broward County, working on improving the claims-handling process and the quality metrics of Field Adjusters.
