The program offers accredited courses that qualify for continuing education (CE) and continuing legal education (CLE) credits.

Led by DDA’s highly credentialed team, including certified consultants, forensic engineers, and executive general adjusters, the CE Program offers technical and practical insights grounded in decades of real-world experience. Attendees learn how risk is created through the actions or inactions of claims personnel and how those actions impact the claim’s life through litigation.
  • Xactimate & Risk Management: What’s the Correlation? This comprehensive course explores the estimating tool Xactimate, guided by a Certified Trainer with extensive experience in the field. Participants gain valuable insights into the intricacies of using the software effectively, including common manipulations and best practices for accurate estimations.
  • Strategic Engagement of Experts: This course provides insights into the strategic engagement of experts early in the claims process to prevent disputes from escalating into litigation. Attendees learn how expert analysis plays a crucial role in reducing risk.
  • Recognizing Wind Damage: Where & What to Look For: This course provides an overview of the Field Adjuster’s role in recognizing wind and non-wind-related damage to residential roofs. This includes a basic overview of hurricane and wind events and how winds affect properties of different geometries.
  • COA & HOA Policies for Agents: Avoiding E&O: This course provides an overview of COA and HOA risks, policies, and underwriting best practices to avoid errors and omissions claims against agents, brokers, and other producers. Attendees will learn how to retrieve and present pertinent information to carriers, MGAs, and syndicates.
  • COA & HOA Claims for Adjusters: What You Should Know: This course provides an overview of COA & HOA claims coverage, handling guidelines, potential hurdles, and best practices. It highlights key differences between handling residential and single-building commercial claims and multi-building COA/HOAs.
  • Subrogation Against Acts of God: This course includes actual claim scenarios, live review and open Q&A session. Participants learn the right questions to ask and what to look for when considering subrogation potential during a claim related to an act of God. Attendees will also learn whether or not there is subrogation potential in the claim.
  • Best Practices for Working Remotely: Claims Adjuster Workspaces: This course equips insurance professionals with the knowledge and tools necessary to create a healthy and successful remote work environment. Participants learn practical strategies for optimizing their workspace and how to maintain strong interpersonal relationships to improve communication and collaboration.
