Designation Reflects the Highest Standards of Technical Excellence and Professional Achievement in Forensic Engineering
MIAMI — Dr. Krishna Sai Vutukuru, Civil and Structural engineer at DDA Forensics, has earned the Diplomate of Forensic Engineering (DFE) certification from the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE). This prestigious credential recognizes exceptional qualifications, experience and ethical standards in forensic engineering.
Engineers who have demonstrated advanced competency in applying engineering principles to forensic investigations are eligible to earn the DFE designation. Candidates undergo a rigorous peer-review process that evaluates education, professional experience, technical expertise and adherence to professional ethics. NAFE members are Board Certified in forensic engineering through the Council on Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB). The CESB was formed by national engineering technical and professional societies, the state examining boards who license professional engineers and the accreditation board which governs the university engineering curricula.
“This certification is a significant step in my career, representing the professional and educational requirements necessary to provide expert engineering analysis for the legal and justice systems. A special thank you to our leadership team at DDA Forensics, Jonathon, Brian, and Ziad, for their continued professional support throughout this journey. I am grateful to work with a team that values technical excellence and professional development. I look forward to applying these high standards to my work and contributing to the National Academy of Forensic Engineering community,” says Vutukuru.
NAFE members are committed to:
- Serving the public by advancing the ethical and professional practice of forensic engineering;
- Serving the jurisprudential system by certifying individuals who have achieved expertise in forensic engineering;
- Serving Academy members and furthering the development of forensic engineers through education and the publication of peer-reviewed technical literature.
The DFE certification recognizes engineers who consistently apply sound science, objectivity and ethical judgment in complex investigations. This milestone reflects Krishna’s depth of technical skill and his commitment to the highest standards of forensic engineering,” says Jonathon Diego, Managing Partner, DDA Forensics.
